The Hybrid Bike by Hasan David Dal

The Hybrid Bike by Hasan David Dal

The Hybrid bike was born out of the idea to create a lightweight and eco friendly vehicle. Instead of designing a car or motorbike, this designer came up with futuristic e-bike. Let’s read what the designer has to say about his unique concept bike.
When I started the project, I did not know, that this will be outcome. Oh and the word project is inappropriate here, because projects are planned. Usually. Only one thing was clear: my intention was to make a vehicle with wheels. I had in my mind, that it should be light, and environmentally friendly. As the shapes continued to evolve from simple geometry, the final image became clear. A well-known bicycle type from earlier ages, in a new form. That is why called “The Hybrid”. The name lacks of fantasy maybe. It’s rather a codename. But it is an amalgamation of an old form with streamlined materials (light metal, carbon – fiber and plastic) and an engine yet to be invented. You see, I’ve never thought of a practical use of this one. Form and function are distant relatives in the case of this design, I think.
If you try to ride, you need a long neck to see what is in front of you…or sensors built at the front that work on collision detection. It does not have stands, because it has an anti-gravity field generator, which works non-stop, providing balance at all times. When the bike is stopped, it switches into standby mode, keeping the machine in vertical position, by using a minimum amount of energy.
